Geoffrey Charles Ryman (natural 1951) is a writer of science fiction, fantasy and slipstream fiction. He was natural inside Canada, and has lived virtually all of his life within England.

His science fiction & fantasy works include A Warrior That Carried Life (1985), a novelette A Unconquered United states (1986) (winner of the British Science Fiction Award and the World Fantasy Award), and The Child Garden (1989) (winner of the Arthur C. Clarke Award). Subsequent fiction works include Was (1992) the re-imagining of The Wizard of Oz and the life of Judy Garland, Lust (2001), and Air (2002).

His operate 253, or Tube Theatre wwhen first published as hypertext fiction on the Internet site [http://www.ryman-novel.com/]. A print version was published inside 1998 & won the Philip K. Dick Memorial Award.
